Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This place is NICE! Vegan, Vegetarian & Meat Lovers can all find something awesome to eat here. I pretty much ALWAYS get the homewrecker and it is BOMB! Much better than any Mexican restaurant in PC!

Moes is a fantastic fast food spot for lunch and dinner. I especially like the burritos myself. The service is great and the atmosphere is homely. However, lunch can get a tad cramped around noon. So go before!

With fresh ingredients, Moe's is a welcome alternative to an otherwise bleak landscape in options for a fairly healthy meal out of the house. Their original size is huge, but the junior size is nice.

I was on my way to Chili's when someone recommended Moe's. I had walked by the day before, but felt like I might want a more full service restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and the portion was larger than you would expect from a fast food establishment. In the end, I just wasn't impressed. The chips didn't taste fresh, the meat tasted like food service heat and serve and guacamole had no flavor. The Salsa had a pretty good kick, but wasn't enough to save the nachos. I wouldn't say stay away, but I would say that if Mexican is what you are after, I would choose another place to eat.

Moe's serves Southwestern style Mexican food that uses fresh ingredients. We have been in a lot of fresh Mex restaurants on our extensive travels and we would have to classify Moes as average; the food is not as tasty as some of the better ones we have eaten at in California--but maybe the comparison is not very fair due to the extensive fresh ingredients available locally year round in California. Service is a lot like a Subway, working your way through a line to tell them what ingredients you want on your burrito, taco or salad.

*siiiiiighhh* I heart Moe's!!!!!!!!!!! When you first walk in, all the employees shout "WELCOME TO MOE'S* and that exciting greeting is indicative of the Moe's experience! *haha* It's on the end of 23rd, closest to 231 and right behind the mall, adjacent to Best Buy. Moe's never disappoints and it's so good, I shamelessly went there in a torrential rain storm. No kidding!! Every Thursday they have $5 dollar burritos. Boy oh Boy is it worth it. My personal favorite is the Homewrecker. I would've given them 5 stars but my first time there I found a bug in the salsa and I just cannot let it go. It hasn't stopped me from going back. *lmao* Also, they scrimp on the tortilla chips! UGHHHHHHH!!! Who does that!!!! The guacamole is so good that you want a whole bowl full of chips! GIMMMMMMEEEE SOME CHIPS, DAMN IT! Overall, Moe's is a fantastic place to eat, but, you can easily break the 1000-1500 calorie mark if you overdo it!

Moe's is a simple restaurant with some good food. For those who've never been to a Moe's Southwest Grill before, the set-up is what I would call "cafeteria-style" or "subway style" in that you order in a manner similar to how you would at a Subway restaurant, moving down the line. The staff is usually friendly enough, the commercialized-hipster decor, complete with some admittedly good music, serves its purpose well enough. They offer beer along with normal coca-cola soft drinks, but I've never felt the urge to drink here, perhaps because it is located near a Best Buy in a strip mall (not the sort of place I prefer to imbibe). The food items basically break down in variations on burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. All three kinds of items are good at Moe's, but I find the burritos have a tendency to be rather dry and bland. I use to be a loyal fan of the nacho platter with chicken, but I have since altered my ordering habits. Now my preference is for a burrito with all the same toppings as I used to get on my nachos, but served in a bowl instead of in a tortilla. Since you get chips either way, I find this to be a way to get a similar size portion of "do-it-yourself" nachos that are less messy than the ones they prepare and, in fact, are also a few cents cheaper. Prices here are rather high, pushing $10 a person with a drink, but, bottom line, it's still the best (and only) restaurant of its class in Panama City. Once upon a time there was a Qdobe down the road and it was my hands-down favorite over Moe's, but since it is gone Moe's wins for being the "last man standing."

This little chain restaurant is popping up everywhere! Expect a hearty "Welcome to Moe's!" when you walk in. You'll see a giant menu on the wall, which showcases their interestingly named (think "Homewrecker," "Art Vandalay," and "Joey Bag of Donuts") nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, and salads. You'll receive fast, friendly counter service where they assemble your food right in front of you. Chips and salsa come with your meal. I usually get a burrito with black beans in it instead of pinto beans. I alternate between grilled steak and chicken as my meat of choice. It's always good!

"Welcome to Moe's!" I just needed a quick dinner and this was the spot. My homewrecker could have been mixed up a bit more - it seemed like all I could get was chicken, and the next bite was all beans and the next bite all rice. Tasty, but no mix of flavors. Quick to get my order and move down the line. Hot salsa was actually hot, which is nice. One woman in front of me needed to have her burrito rewrapped because it tore. Chips seemed like they could have been fresher. The salsa bar was well stocked and the bowls were full, but there were a couple of spills.

Decent food in a pinch. Chipotle or Qudoba is better tho. Sadly we don't have around the panhandle.

The food is good, a little pricy but it's an ok substitute for Chipotle. I'm not saying it is as good as Chipotle, just a substitute, if there were a Chipotle in PC I would not go to Moe's...

Fairly decent priced menu items and a clean place?! Say no more. Why have I not been here in a more regular basis? One must ask on self this from time to time. If you have five minutes stop in and grab something. You will not be disappointed.

I have been to Moe's many times in Ft. Lauderdale and loved it so when we saw one here in Panama city I just had to stop in... OMG what a mistake the food tasted fine when I ate it .. but with in 3 hours I was as sick as a dog I threw up all night with a headache. this was a huge disappointment for me I will never go back ever. I don't care where I am at

Possibly the slowest moes on the planet. 2nd time here and glad I budgeted extra time. Bad if your used to a normal speedy moes.

This is my alternative to Subway. And I think it taste much better. When its clean and not crowded from the church groups that tend to gather its perfect place to sit and eat. Tons of drink options and mostly friendly staff. The one time I did have a complaint, the regional manager called me personally and took care of the next time I went it to dine. I would recommend this place to anyone that doesn't mind a fast food like place with great quality food.
